BIPOC Resourcing & Processing Group
Wednesdays 7:15 pm - 8:45 pm, via Zoom
Led by Lissa Edmond, NP and Linda Perez-Puelles, PsyD
In this virtual group for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), you will be supported in building a community together to offer a safer space for connection, affirmation, and learning how to ground, resource, cope, and process the impact of race- and oppression-based trauma.
We will meet weekly for ten 90-minute sessions from late July through September to gain an understanding of how the body and nervous system respond to stress, anxiety, and overwhelm and create strategies for self and group regulation and resilience.
Resources for the group will include mindfulness, movement, DBT skills, and somatic-based trauma therapy interventions.
The cost will be $75 per session. There will be approximately 6-10 members in the group, and sessions will take place virtually over Zoom.
