Alura Bennett, LMHC (She/Her), is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in providing individual psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults. With a background in educational and community-based settings, Alura has extensive experience assisting individuals and families facing various challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, bipolar disorder, grief, family conflicts, and school-related issues.

Her therapeutic approach is collaborative and person-centered, tailored to meet each client's unique needs. She draws from evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing (MI), art therapy, and solution-focused therapy (SFT). In addition, Alura emphasizes mindfulness and healthy lifestyles to promote holistic well-being.

Alura's expertise extends to working with children in foster care and adoptive families, providing a supportive environment to address behavioral and school challenges. She offers warmth and empathy for young adults and LGBTQIA+ community navigating life transitions and emotional difficulties to foster resilience and growth. Alura is passionate about empowering clients to regulate emotions, enhance communication skills and navigate daily challenges with confidence and self-awareness.
