Katherine “Katie” Tallon is a psychiatric nurse practitioner intern with over 20 years of experience as a registered nurse, primarily working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. Her background spans pediatric oncology nursing, healthcare quality
management, and integrative health coaching, bringing a uniquely multidisciplinary and whole-person perspective to her work in mental health.
Katie spent the majority of her career at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she worked as a clinical nurse in pediatric hematology/oncology and bone marrow transplant before advancing into leadership roles in quality management. She later served as a Nursing Quality
Specialist at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, contributing to evidence-based initiatives that improved patient care and safety across clinical systems.
She is committed to providing thoughtful, developmentally informed, and collaborative care that supports both patients and families.
As a psychiatric nurse practitioner intern, Katie provides care under the supervision of an experienced licensed psychiatric provider as part of the Mind Body Psychiatry clinical team.
