Kaylee Rutchik Stix, LCSW, RYT
KAYLEE is a psychotherapist and yoga teacher specializing in mind body therapy. Kaylee received her Master of Science degree in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University and her Bachelors degree from George Washington University. She attained her 200‐hour Registered Yoga Teacher certificate in Integrative Yoga Therapy in addition to her yoga teacher certificate.
Kaylee designs therapy sessions to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. In a collaborative therapeutic partnership, she helps clients feel more empowered and equipped to face life’s ever‐evolving challenges. Her goal is to help you to not only learn how to cope with life’s many difficulties, but also to develop a greater sense of health, wellness and overall joy in life.
She couples her wellness‐based and person‐centered approach with specific evidenced based practices, such as: Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing and Relaxation Skills Training. In conjunction with traditional talk therapy, Kaylee may also integrate complementary approaches such as meditative breath work, yoga therapy and other mind body techniques.
Kaylee specializes in individual psychotherapy with young, middle aged and older adults.
