Cynthia Solis, LMHC Intern

Cynthia Solis is a Mental Health Counseling intern, attaining her Master’s degree at Hunter College and received her bachelor’s degree from SUNY Purchase. Cynthia has a passion for human rights and has been involved in a number of volunteer positions from servicing Fountain House’s College Re-entry Program as a mentor to becoming a trained volunteer in accompanying undocumented persons caught in immigration proceedings. 

Cynthia encourages individuals to engage in an exploratory process that involves identifying and challenging thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are obstructing functioning and overall wellbeing. Through collaboration, she can help you to gain insight in understanding your life events and experiences. 

 Cynthia offers adolescents and adult’s supportive counseling and receives her supervision from Stephen F. Lewis MA, LMHC, NCC, E-RYT.
